The M&A Advisor’s recognition of Insight as “Private Equity Firm of the Year” acknowledges the firm’s unique approach to operational private equity. This award demonstrates Insight’s proven collaborative value creation model that includes partnering with management teams to facilitate operational improvements and increase long-term equity value.
During one of the more difficult credit markets of the last two decades, Insight’s recognition for “Financing Deal of the Year” for the multi-tranche financing of Atwood Mobile Products exhibited the firm’s ability to inspire lender confidence and close difficult financings. In the past year, Insight has completed three recapitalizations, refinanced an additional portfolio company, closed a 363 sale process out of Chapter 11, and completed several add-on acquisitions.
“We are proud to have received this recognition from The M&A Advisor”, said Conner Searcy, a Partner with Insight. “We strive to create business success stories in collaboration with our management team partners that will ultimately deliver great returns to our LP investors.”
Insight Equity was awarded these honors on June 8th at The M&A Advisor’s Third Annual Middle-Market Financing Conference and Awards Gala in Chicago, IL. A panel of independent judges assembled by the publication selected the winners in 21 categories from among the 104 competing finalists.
